We will cycle along massive lava fields, ancient Etna forests, old craters and caves formed by the lava flow. During our tour, you will see the essence of Mount Etna volcano after a few kilometers of cycling. We will bike to reach the most important destination of this MTB excursion, Grotta Dei Lamponi, located in the middle of an extensive brick-colored lava field. The lava field was formed after an eruption that lasted ten years, from 1614 to 1624. The enormous quantity of magma from the eruption of 1614 has left a spectacular geological structure commonly formed with the particular type of lava flow produced on Etna.

CHARACTERISTICS EXCURSION :

• Meeting point: 9.15 am Rifugio Clan dei Ragazzi - Etna Nord (after booking the link with the location will be sent)
• Difficulty: easy / medium (Mountain Bike riding experience is required);
• The excursion lasts approximately 3 hours;
• Road surface: natural and sandy;

• !!Warnings!!: absolutely prohibited for heart patients,
  asthmatics and hypertensives; ;

• Not forget: water, a small backpack with windproof jacket, camera and something to eat; ;
